The Friendliest Shooting Club In North Carolina

Gate Power Failures

In the event of a power failure at PHA, it is important for members to execute the following procedures.

The gate is programmed to automatically open in the event of a power failure so that members on the property can get out.  This however leaves the club vulnerable to unauthorized access.

If the gate is open and the backup farm gate is also open, you may be the first one on the property since the power failure occurred.  Club management needs to be aware of this as soon as possible.

When power fails, there are two flashing red lights to indicate this.  Near each of the lights is a sign with a QR code.

The QR code should be scanned which will create an email to the club president. The subject and body of the message will already be filled out.  Please send this message as soon as possible.

After sending the message, please go to the old farm gate and put it back into service.  The gate is normally secured in the open position with a combination lock.  The combination is the four-digit code on the back of your membership card.  Please lock the gate in the closed position until the power fail event is over.

If it appears the power fail event is over (automatic gate closed, no red lights), you may unlock the old farm gate and secure it in the open position.  It is recommended, but not necessary to lock it in the open position but please leave the lock somewhere management can find it.
