Some of the folks who participated in the Veterans Pistol Match this month suggested that we run it again.  

OK, so that's what we'll do, open to everyone.  We'll call it the "Basic Plates Match", with slightly modified stages and categories.  We'll be shooting it every first Saturday through March, weather permitting of course. (Our regular Falling Plates Matches are scheduled to restart in April)  There will be three categories:

   The first category will be "Stock Military"; which is limited to WWII of earlier military pistols & revolvers, their newer clones, in original condition and original grips, etc. 

    The second category will "Stock Duty"; base-line models of newer pistols and revolvers, fixed sights and factory stock or carry type aftermarket grips, barrels 5 inch or less. 

   The third category we'll call "Stock Compact"; similar to Stock Duty, but with revolver barrels limited to 3 inch and pistol barrels limited to 3-1/2 inch. 

    The course will be 42 rounds, with some one handed firing. Stock Military and Stock Duty categories will use the 10, 20, & 25 yard lines. Stock Compact will be using the 10, 15 & 20 yard lines. Re-entries with a different gun will be allowed.  Open to anyone. Match fee will be $10, with $5 for each 2nd gun, etc.
